Hofstra Law IP Professor Irina Manta presenting “Tinder Lies”

The Akron Law Intellectual Property Technology Law Association and Akron Law Federalist Society will host Hofstra Law IP Professor, Irina Manta for an IP-oriented talk titled “Tinder Lies.”

Prof. Manta will discuss how to handle fraud brought about through the use of deceit in online dating profiles. Prof. Manta proposes the use of trademark law as a tool in these proceedings, the appropriate venue for such a claim, and what damages may be appropriate. See flyer.
