Call for Poster Abstracts:  We cordially invite nurses and nursing students to submit abstracts for poster presentations on any topic of relevance to nursing.  Reports of completed or in progress research, evidence-based practice, or quality improvement projects are welcome.  Deadline for submission is midnight, February 17, 2017.


Submission Guidelines: 

Abstracts must be submitted through the following link:
Submissions must be received by midnight on February 17, 2017.
Abstracts are limited to 350 words and should contain the following headings:  introduction, methods, results, discussion and conclusion.  Content for each section should be developed according to the type of project (research, EBP, or QI) as outlined in Table 1 in the following article:
Submissions must include one learner objective.  Identify a measureable outcome which completes the sentence:  “The learner will be able to . . .”.  Objectives are not included in the 350 word limit. 

Abstracts will be blinded for peer review.  Presenters will be notified of acceptance decision by March 10, 2017 and must confirm attendance and provide biographical forms by March 24, 2017. Presenters are responsible for expenses, including registration fees, travel, and lodging. Poster display method will be wall-mounted.
