Learning Resource Center (LRC)

Build confidence before you care for patients. Practice essential nursing skills in our Learning Resource Center, where you'll master everything from patient assessments to clinical procedures with guidance from experienced faculty. Beginning as early as the fall of your sophomore year, you'll receive hands-on coaching and repeated practice in a supportive environment that helps you feel prepared before stepping into clinical settings. 

Simulation Lab

Learn by doing—in a place where it's safe to learn. Step into realistic patient care scenarios using high-fidelity simulation technology that mirrors today's health care environments. Work alongside classmates to respond to medical emergencies, strengthen your clinical judgment and develop the critical thinking skills every nurse needs. It's a place to ask questions, learn from mistakes and build confidence before caring for real patients. 

Advanced Surgical Suite

See what's possible in your nursing career. Undergraduate nursing students have the opportunity to experience our state-of-the-art surgical simulation suite—the only educational facility of its kind in Ohio—during specialty lab experiences. Home to our nationally recognized nurse anesthesia program, this advanced learning environment offers a glimpse into one of nursing's most specialized and rewarding career paths.
