Distinguished Professor Guidelines
The Distinguished Professor guidelines in this section of our website are used by each academic unit once per year to determine eligibility for the honor of the title of Distinguished Professor to be bestowed on a faculty member based on professional accomplishments over his or her career. The guidelines and criteria differ for each department and school depending on their distinctive missions and areas of focus.
