Rec center parking
Whether you are looking to park your car or secure your bike, you have options. Multiple parking lots are available and both short and long term bike storage options are nearby.
Parking update
As of fall 2023, all campus parking is now managed by UAkronPark. Please direct any questions about parking to their team.
Visitor parking
For visitor parking, metered spaces are available in Lot 8, Lot 10 and Lot 57 in front of the James A Rhodes Arena. Handicapped metered spaces are available in Lot 57. Other parking options for visitors are also available.
Bike storage
All three of our main entrances provide conveniently placed bike racks. Please use these racks to store and/or secure your bike when you visit. Securing bikes to hand rails interferes with access to the buildings and is not permitted. Bikes found secured to hand rails will be removed and turned over to UAPD.
If you are looking for long term bike storage, bike lockers are located near our ONAT main entrance. These lockers provide dry storage for bikes and basic cylcing equipment.
