One component of the University's plan to stop the spread of COVID-19 on campus is weekly testing through the semester. Regular testing lets people know if they have the virus so they can isolate and prevent spreading the virus to others.
Part of prioritizing the health and safety of the campus community includes a frequent and robust testing program. As vital members of this campus community, we encourage you to be a leader in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and attend regular testing. This testing is free to students and staff with an on-campus presence. Testing is performed with a rapid antigen test that is completed with a non-invasive, one-inch nasal swab. Results are provided before you leave. Testing takes less than one minute, with results in 30 minutes.
Testing takes place at the Honors Complex Common Room Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are required. Those who are tested will receive a free T-shirt, and their name will be entered into a drawing to win a free 128-gig iPad at the end of the semester.
If you have already completed the interest form, you do not need to complete it again. Your information will be included each week for random selection. Sign up to be included and receive additional instructions.
If you have COVID symptoms, no matter how mild, do not sign up for the appointments; instead, call Student Health Services at 330-972-7808.
