About
Mary joined the Office of Accessibility as a Disability Specialist in 2025. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Education in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University. As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Mary is dedicated to fostering collaboration among students, faculty, and campus partners to promote equal access for students with disabilities. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with students and supporting them as they develop the skills needed to advocate for themselves and thrive throughout their academic journey. Mary specializes in working with students with mental health conditions, learning disorders, and ADHD. She is the point person from the office who meets with students one on one for informational request meetings to walk them through the registration process. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and caring for her three cats, Ziggy, Bowie, and Nala.
