HOW TO APPLY TO THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
Application Process Step-By-Step
- Apply to the Office of Admissions website here: https://uakron.edu/admissions/undergraduate#apply
- After formal admission to the University, meet with a College of Health Professions assigned Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (Bachelor) advisor: https://www.uakron.edu/health/ssc/
- Completion of 30 credit hours with a cumulative 3.0 GPA is required for admission into the Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) -OR- Bachelor of Arts - Tagged degree (B.A.T.) Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology major.
- The following courses are required for pre-admission:
- 3470:250 Statistics for Every Day Life -OR- 3470:260 Basic Statistics
- 3100:200 Human Anatomy and Physiology I +Lab
- 3100:202 Human Anatomy and Physiology II +Lab
- 3750:100 Intro to Psychology
- 7700:110 Intro to Disorders of Communication
- Once students are admitted into the major, certificate programs and minors can be selected with the academic advisor.
