Through hands-on service and philanthropic support, our community is committed to civic responsibility. Their service to both the University and greater community helps many local and national organizations. Many of our chapters support philanthropies, which are typically non-profit organizations of their choosing in which they make monetary donations. We help educate and empower students to become socially responsible, active, and contributing members of society both locally and globally.
Last year at UA
- The FSL community completed 15,655.5 hours of service and raised $104,224.59 to donate to philanthropies in the 2015-2016 academic year!
- 59% of Fraternity and Sorority life members completed service in spring 2016.
- $6,844.67 was raised through Songfest, which supports Camp Quality Ohio.
- The Panhellenic Council adopted a community-wide philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood, and raised over $1,500 in the fall 2015 semester.
