Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP)

IPS_Village_logo_image_v2In partnership with the State of Ohio's Development Services Agency and The University of Akron Workforce Training Solutions – Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP) is a new program to provide opportunities for Ohioans who are currently low income, partially unemployed, underemployed or completely unemployed to participate in non-credit training through UA to receive a microcredential certificate. All courses are offered online.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a current Ohio resident.
  • Applicants must meet certain state mandated income requirements.
  • If you wish to take online IMAP courses, you must have access to a personal computer or laptop with internet access.
  • Applicants must complete the UA Workforce Training Solutions IMAP application.

How to Enroll

Eligible individuals must complete and then submit a UA Workforce Training Solutions IMAP application.
