This Boston based group is the reincarnation of a full band rock show packed into a coffeehouse setting. Stepanian’s signature sound is unmistakable and exhibits radio pop with organic soul. Their live show simmers with a provocative brand of lyrical songwriting, sweet baritone vocals, and the presence of upright bass rarely seen in rock music today. Stepanians’s success has exploded since 2005 while playing sold-out shows in Boston with such artists as Howie Day, Rusted Root, Maroon 5, and Jason Mraz.

The English Language Institute (ELI), UA's English program for international students, invites UA students to participate in its Conversation Partners Program. ELI students come from all over the world and bring with them a wide variety of educational, political, cultural, religious, and linguistic backgrounds. This program is a wonderful opportunity to learn about another country and culture AND to make an international student feel welcome here in Akron.

We are in need of approximately 15 more American partners. Sign-up TODAY in the ELI Office in Olin Hall 302. The one-hour weekly meetings will run from the week of October 20 through November 21. Call (330) 972-7544 for more information.
