Do the colours we experience exist? If so, what sorts of properties are they? Are they subjective properties such as dispositions of objects to look coloured, objective properties such as physical properties of objects or dispositions objects have to cause their bearers to look coloured, or neither? Dr. Gatzia will present an array of views about the nature of colour defended by modern and contemporary philosophers and explain why she believes that colours are fictional.

The UAEYC would like to invite you to participate in our October meeting, October 20, 2010 at 3:15 p.m. in Schrank Hall South room #209.

Please come get involved in our Foster Care Project where we will be collecting household items to fill our laundry baskets for area young adults who are starting life on their own.

As many of us can recall how difficult it can be to begin living on our own, the UAEYC has organized this project to provide them with some help.

Beginning now, we will be taking your donations of household items to help a young person get a fresh start on their new life. (Items such as dish soap, laundry soap, or cleaning supplies.)

Won't you please come be involved in a worth while project and make a difference today?

We look forward to seeing you all there!
