Parking alternatives to the North Campus Parking Deck... Aug. 11 - Aug. 31

Parking in the North Campus Parking Deck (Lot 26) is expected to be tight after students start to move into the new Honors Residence Hall and as Simmons Hall, the new student affairs building opens for business. Because this deck was at capacity at times last year, Parking Services suggests that students consider these alternatives during peak parking times.

To the NORTH:
*Lot 71, located at the former Goodwill Building (and current SAS Building) on Mill St.
*Lot 20, located in the designated area behind the First United Methodist Church with entrance on S. College St.
*Lot 32, located across from the University Dance Institute with entrance on Fir Hill.
*Lot 21, located at the former Eshelman Building with entrance on Forge St. close to E. Market St.

To the WEST:
*Lot 28 (E.J.Thomas Deck), located within the E.J.Thomas Performing Arts Hall with entrance on Hill St.

*To the SOUTH:
*Lots 43 and 70, located by the School of Law and the BCCE with entrance on Wolf Ledges Parkway.

To the EAST:
*Lot 1 (East Campus Parking Deck), located by the Route 8 freeway with entrances on Spicer and Carroll Streets.

Although there are a number of other closer lots/decks in each direction, they also tend to be filled during peak times.

For more information, please check the UA Parking map at the Parking Services website: http:www.uakron.edu/parking . You may also call for assistance at the Parking Office at 330-972-7213.
