Ever feel like you got meal swipes, but NO need for junk food? Ever wonder how you as a poor college student can help those who aren't as well off as you? Well, if so, I got just the thing!

Join in the cause to brighten someone's day by doing what you normally do every week. Use some of those EXTRA meal swipes (worth $5 at the Zees stores) to collect some food for the poor. Just BUY, BAG, and DROP any NON-PERISHABLE food items in the boxes in the Zees stores. They are collected and taken to the nearest food pantry.

Serving with Swipes: a great way to help those in need!

This event will help raise money for the club. Entrance to the party is $15. Active dues paid members will be free. Dues are $10 and you need to have them in before the dinner party. You can stop by our office to pay your dues. (Office: Student Union Source office across from the bowling alley. We are Source Pod #5).

We ask that everyone show up in something flying spaghetti monster/Pirate related. The best and worst costumes will earn a prize. There will be a spaghetti/Ravioli dinner. Costumes are mandatory.

Our speaker for this event is JT Eberhard, founder of Skepticon and member of the national SSA Speaker's bureau. JT will help get us ready for our conference trip to sketpicon, he will discuss the Pastafarian movement, and explain 'why religious arguments fail.' Those who are going to Skepticon V with Akron SSA are strongly encouraged to attend.

Before he speaks we will serve food, socialize and watch Muppet Treasure Island. We also plan to have various board games/card games to help socialize during the movie and while we eat.

The Kent State Free Thinkers will join us for this event. Please make them feel welcome!

A decoration crew and officers should show up at 4:30 to help quickly set up and help get things situated.

We will have the University cater this event. The organization is responsible for coordinating all food and beverage needed directly with University Dining Services at x7668

Before we eat, Bryan will lead us in a word of prayer:

Love him or hate him, you don’t know him.

The Network of Enlightened Women and College Republicans will be sponsoring a screening of the Box Office sensation film "2016: Obama's America" in the Student Union, room 312 on Monday November 29th at 8:30 pm.

The film takes audiences on a gripping visual journey into the heart of the world’s most powerful office to reveal the struggle of whether one man's past will redefine America over the next four years. The film examines the question, "If Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?"

It is our hope that Democrats and Republicans alike will view this film in order to further our understanding of our current President. All are welcome, and feel free to bring your friends!
