Parking likely to be tight on Monday, Feb. 20
spacer image
spacer image
spacer image
spacer image
About 2,300 visitors are expected on campus Monday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the Visitation Day, and that is likely to make parking tight in many of the decks and lots. Commuting students are encouraged to leave for class a few minutes early.

To accommodate visitors, the Polsky Express Shuttle will alter its route from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The shuttle, which usually travels between Polsky and the College Street circle (by Bierce Library), will loop between Polsky and the Carroll Street circle (on the south side of the Student Union) for those 90 minutes on Monday. At 12:30 p.m., it will resume its usual route.

For Visitation Day, students and their families will attend informational sessions about UA academics and student services, take campus tours, visit residence halls and enjoy campus dining.

These new parking spots — which are open to any driver with a UA permit — are depicted in orange on this map.
