In response to the Food and Drug Administration's alert about the consumption of spinach, University Dining Services has discarded all spinach products and other food products that may have come in contact with the spinach.

The university's food supplier reports that there is no indication that its spinach suppliers have shipped any of the contaminated product, but because the exact source of contamination has not been determined, the university has opted to discard its supply of spinach.

If you have questions, please call Dining Services at 330-972-6795.

Does it sound like a symphony of crickets is playing in your head? Does it seem like the telephone is ringing even when it isn’t? If so, you may be suffering from tinnitus (pronounced TIN-i-tus or ti-NIGHT-us). Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the ears or head when no external sound source is present.

Tinnitus can be benign or may be related to a more serious medical condition. Treatment is available for tinnitus sufferers and The Audio logy and Speech Center on campus can help.

If you or a loved one suffers from tinnitus, don’t miss this opportunity to have a full Audio logical and tinnitus evaluation at the Audio logy and Speech Center. Faculty, staff and students, as well as their family members receive significant discounts off our already low fees for evaluations at the Center.

To learn more or to schedule an appointment, call the Audio logy and Speech Center at 330-972-7883. The Audio logy and Speech Center is conveniently located in the Polsky Building on campus and offers appointments Mondays - Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Are you or a family member interested in learning about solutions for hearing loss? Do you already have a hearing aid and have never been able to adjust wearing it? Have you been wearing a hearing aid for many years, but want to find out what is new in hearing care?
