spacer image
As of the end of 2007’s spring semester, a new environmental student organization has been formed and approved by ASG called Environmental Akron. We’re looking for eco- friendly members and volunteers to actively help in greening the University of Akron.

• The purpose of this organization is to unite like-minded students to address environmental issues on and off campus.
• Meetings will include environmental friendly speakers, videos, and developing projects.
• Regular meetings will take place the first and third Monday of every month at 4p.m. at a TBA location.

Throughout the summer, the group has been active in a few projects including recycling during concerts at Blossom Music Center and working with the Blue, Gold, and Green Committee to step up campus greening efforts.

Please e-mail Donny Davis at dmd45@uakron.edu to join our roster and help strengthen environmental awareness at The University of Akron.
