College of Business Administration Graduate Programs Information SessionMarch 8

Our Flexible MBA allows students to study on a full-time or part-time basis. Students with any bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for admission. Students with science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medical backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

We offer an interdisciplinary concentration that allows you to take graduate credits outside of business to fulfill MBA requirements. Students admitted to any UA graduate program can shorten the MBA by applying coursework from the current program.

Coordinated programs with Engineering, Math, Statistics and the BS/MD program allow students to reduce Gateway requirements in the MBA by taking specific undergraduate elective courses in business and take graduate and undergraduate work concurrently.

The CBA also offers programs in Accountancy, Taxation, Information Systems, Technological Innovation and joint programs with the School of Law.

Bloomberg Business week ranked our Flexible MBA #1 in northeast Ohio and #34 in the nation. U.S. News and World Report also rated our program as the top public Flexible MBA in northern Ohio.

Register to attend the session online at mba.uakron.edu and meet with our advising staff to learn more about admission requirements and how the Flexible MBA is a good fit for your future!

“A World on Autopilot?: Atheism, Determinism, Ethics, and Evolution”

By August Berkshire

In the world premiere of this controversial and thought-provoking talk, August Berkshire will discuss the ramifications of a universe without gods and free will, where evolution reigns supreme. Is life worth living? How do we derive meaning and purpose in our lives? What does this say about ethics, cooperation, altruism, praise, blame, responsibility, crime, punishment, rehabilitation, and revenge? Should we be optimistic or pessimistic about the future?

August Berkshire is president of Minnesota Atheists and a past vice president of Atheist Alliance International. He has been an atheist activist since 1984 and is the author of numerous pamphlets.
