Residence Hall Student Move-OutMay 3 - Dec. 31
Time: n/a
Resident students will be moving out from May 6 through May 12, 2013. We encourage all students moving during final exams to plan ahead.

To make your move easier, North Quad residents (Bulger, Honors/Orr, Ritchie, Sisler-McFawn and Spanton) are encouraged to use the North Quad Parking Deck (Lot #26). South Quad students are encouraged to use lots adjacent to their buildings. Exchange Street residents are encouraged to use the metered spaces by Gallucci or Exchange. Quaker Square residents are encouraged to use Lot #70 at Quaker Square. There will be carts available for your use at each Service Desk for loading and unloading.

For the safety of personal belongings, students are encouraged to secure their vehicles and attend their rooms while loading. Loading Passes will be available at all front desks. They are only valid for ONE DAY and must be displayed in the vehicle. However, these passes are not valid in ADA parking spaces or fire lanes. Unattended vehicles may be ticketed.

Non-residents, faculty and staff should be aware there will be increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic in residential areas during this time.

Have you filled out your FAFSA yet?
We encourage all students to fill out the Free Application for Financial Aid, even if you do not consider yourself needy.

The FAFSA gives UA a calculation of your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) — and knowing that figure allows us to calculate your financial need for federal and state aid programs.

Your need might be higher than your estimate, meaning you might be eligible for more assistance than anticipated. And completing the FAFSA makes you eligible a variety of programs.

Complete the FAFSA online today at for faster processing time. When you complete the FAFSA, you will need to use the UA school code number: 003123.

College of Business Administration Graduate Programs Information SessionMay 17

Our Flexible MBA allows students to study on a full-time or part-time basis. Students with any bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for admission. Students with science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medical backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

We offer an interdisciplinary concentration that allows you to take graduate credits outside of business to fulfill MBA requirements. Students admitted to any UA graduate program can shorten the MBA by applying coursework from the current program.

Coordinated programs with Engineering, Math, Statistics and the BS/MD program allow students to reduce Gateway requirements in the MBA by taking specific undergraduate elective courses in business and take graduate and undergraduate work concurrently.

The CBA also offers programs in Accountancy, Taxation, Information Systems, Technological Innovation and joint programs with the School of Law.

Bloomberg Business week ranked our Flexible MBA #1 in northeast Ohio and #34 in the nation. U.S. News and World Report also rated our program as the top public Flexible MBA in northern Ohio.

Register to attend the session online at and meet with our advising staff to learn more about admission requirements and how the Flexible MBA is a good fit for your future!

What have your experiences at UA been like — from classes to career-related opportunities to what you’ve enjoyed doing on campus? Now is your chance to tell us so that UA can continually improve the undergraduate experience inside and outside the classroom, and better prepare all of you for your future careers.

All freshman and senior students have received an individual link to the online National Survey of Student Engagement. It should take 10 to 20 minutes to complete. You have until the end of the semester to respond, so we hope you do.
Unbelievable LEADERSHIP OpportunityAug. 26

The LDG will be composed of six students each and be solely run by those students. Each LDG will meet 1 hour per week where they will engage in individual and group activities that will create Authentic Leadership skills.

This program is designed for self-motivated students who want to better themselves and by doing so better the people around them. If you are interested in being a part of an LDG, please sign-up at

Once we have received your information, you will receive an invitation to join us and other students interested in being part of an LDG at an informational meeting the first week of the fall semester.
