Summer Symphonic Band

The UA Bands are pleased to announce the resumption of our annual Summer Symphonic Band in 2024

Rehearsals:

  • Dates: Monday and Wednesdays, June 10-26, 2024
  • Location: Guzzetta Recital Hall
  • Time: 6-7:30 p.m.
  • Concert: June 26, 2024 

Registration optional to receive college credit with no tuition cost - only pay fees!

The University of Akron Summer Symphonic Band is open to any and all students and/or community members (former students, band directors or community members who want to play).

  • Literature ranges from standard works for wind band to popular and patriotic selections.
  • NO audition is required
