Dr. Ira D. Sasowsky, professor of geosciences, received the Outstanding Teacher Award in recognition of his dedication to petroleum geology through his research in karst geology, teaching, advising, mentorship, and his service to AAPG at the 2024 annual meeting of the Eastern Section American Association of Petroleum Geologists (ESAAPG). -
