As the weather is getting nicer, you’ll find yourself walking around campus more frequently. On your next walk past the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering, stop and complete #11. Snap a selfie in front of the rock candy sculpture. This landmark sculpture was created for UA by artist Dale Chihuly, representing the convergence of science and art. Did you know that every state-funded project, it is required that 1% of the total appropriation is allocated for the acquisition, commissioning and installation of artwork? This is how the rock candy sculpture came to be!
