Graduate School Goes Green

To serve graduate students more efficiently hard copy correspondence will no longer be printed and mailed from the Graduate School. All communication will be disseminated to students electronically via e-mail.

The Graduate School recommends that graduate students inform our office of any changes to their e-mail accounts. Notice of these changes should be sent to gradsch@uakron.edu.

  • FEBRUARY 15 - Deadline for submission of Advancement to Candidacy/Graduation Application for Summer 2010 graduation

  • MARCH 15 - Preliminary Dissertation Deadline 

  • APRIL 2 - Preliminary Thesis Deadline

  • APRIL 9 - Last day to withdraw from a Spring class

  • APRIL 12 - Final Thesis/Dissertation Deadline

  • May 8 & 9 - Spring 2010 Commencement 


EVENTS

6th ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH

The 6th annual Conference on Undergraduate and Graduate Student Research, Research: Energizing Innovation and Creativity, will take place on Thursday, April 8.  The conference will be held in the Student Union from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Over two hundred student researchers from various disciplines will present their projects.
