Dr. William M. "Mike" Sherman is the Senior Vice President, Provost and Chief Operating Office of The University of Akron. The Provost is the Chief Academic Office of the University. He works with UA's senior leaders to achieve UA's mission.

students and employees to the
Akron Art Museum
Through a special partnership between the University and the Akron Art Museum, UA faculty, staff and students have free admission to the museum for the 2011-12 academic year. Simply show your Zip Card at the ticket desk to enter. For more information, call 330-972-7429.
