About the Degree

The master’s program in engineering management is an evening program intended primarily for practicing engineers who are working full-time and wish to upgrade their engineering and management skills. Student in this program take courses through both the College of Engineering and College of Business Administration.


Salary and Career Outlook

The career outlook in the engineering management field is excellent. Most students in the program are already employed as engineers with reputed companies. Upon graduation, students become managers.

Why Akron?

This program offers two birds in one stone – advanced engineering degree components and core business administration degree components. In contrast, other engineering management courses across the country offer only blended courses as such they are not too technical or have depth like our program.
