Biography

Favorite place on campus

One of my favorite places on campus is a place I lived and spent a lot of time as an undergraduate student - that was my sorority house. Getting involved in Greek Life at The University of Akron was one of the best things that I did. My involvement in Greek Life opened doors to achieve excellence in leadership, development, scholarship, education, service and relationships. The University of Akron offers over 200 student organizations. I always encourage students to get involved in something that matches their interests and become part of an outstanding campus community.

What internship and co-op opportunities are available for students to have hands on experience in their field? Hands on, real-world experience, opens doors for students to network and learn the ins and outs of their profession. Often times, these experiences can lead the way for students to land their first job after graduation.
