Biography

Dr. Waehler received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in 1989. His orientation in psychodynamic personality theory becomes applied in his research and teaching in personality assessment, psychodiagnostics, the counseling process, and adult development. He typically teaches projective testing, psychodiagnostics, and supervises the advanced psychotherapy practicum. Results of his research are found in journals such as Journal of Personality Assessment, Journal of Counseling Psychology, Psychotherapy, The Counseling Psychologist, and the Journal of Counseling and Development.
