ZipSupport is your one-stop shop for front-line technical support at The University of Akron. We have designed the support system with you in mind!  We offer help with registration, PeopleSoft, Springboard!, ID’s and Passwords, mobile device setup, as well as software assistance with Microsoft products and virus/malware scanning products.

• Springboard Upgrade
  

  Springboard will be updated to the latest version of the Desire2Learn learning environment (version 10) this December 20th. Version 10 brings a new design and a number of new features to Springboard. 

• OBEN service ended
  

  As of August 31, 2012 the Ohio Educational Broadband Network service is discontinued. 

• The Emerging Technology Lab is a joint venture that is being led by the UA Libraries Systems.
  

  The Emerging Technology Lab is a joint venture that is being led by the UA Libraries Systems. The first exhibition in the room will be a hands free computer that uses the Microsoft Kinect to enable the user to perform many day to day tasks without ever having to touch a keyboard or mouse.
