ecrt (effort certification and reporting technology) is a web-based software application that The University of Akron uses to certify and report time and effort on sponsored projects. Certification is required by federal regulation and University policy for all individuals working on sponsored projects.
Effort certification through ecrt will take place once a term (three times a year). Important dates for ecrt activities are available on the Controller's Effort Report and ecrt Web Page
At the beginning of each term, instructor-led classes for certifiers and effort coordinators may be available. To register for a class, go to the seminars web page and login with your UAnet ID and password.
