The Akron Guarantee Scholarship for transfer students
The Akron Guarantee scholarship increases in value when you earn 30, 60 and 90 credits as long as you maintain good academic standing (2.0 GPA).
BEGINNING WITH THE SPRING 2018 SEMESTER, entering domestic transfer students who are pursuing a bachelor's degree may receive the Akron Guarantee Scholarship for up to six consecutive fall and spring semesters - OR - until a bachelor’s degree is conferred - whichever comes first.
Who is eligible?
Students who transfer to The University of Akron with at least 12 semester credit hours, but not more than 90 semester credit hours, from another regionally accredited college or university and who have achieved a minimum cumulative college grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
You must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s program on our Main Campus and continue in good academic standing.
The Akron Guarantee Scholarship rewards your progress
Scholarship increases will occur once a year, at the end of the spring semester.
