Matt Petras

Biography

Matt Petras has been an I.T. professional since 1996, after earning a B.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University.  His I.T. career has focused primarily on applications programming, systems analysis, and application architecture.  Matt joined the University of Akron team in 2001 as a Sr. Systems Analyst during the implementation of PeopleSoft, and worked for several years on the financial aid systems. 

Matt is currently a technical lead in Application Services, with responsibility for Enterprise Portal (My Akron) development, Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence applications, Business Process Management applications, Document Imaging, and other non-enterprise applications development and integrations.

Matt sings and plays guitar in a band called Roxxymoron.
