Several CBA faculty and staff received service awards at the annual UA Service Award Ceremony held at the Quaker Square Grand Station Hall on April 8, 2010.
Dr. John Hebert, professor of management, and Mr. Dave Redle, chair of the finance department, received an awards for thirty years of service. Dr. Robert Figler, associate professor of management, Dr. Gary Frank, professor of accounting, Dr. Doug Hausknecht, Chair of Marketing, and Dr. Il-Woon Kim, professor of accounting, received twenty-five year service awards. Twenty year awards were presented to Dr. Susan Hanlon, associate professor of management and acting assistant dean of graduate programs, Dr. Darlene Kausch, college lecturer and associate professor emeritus of accountancy, and Mr. Michael LeHere, part-time faculty member in entrepreneurship.
Mr. Thomas Costigan, instructor of finance, Dr. Stephen Hallam, professor of management, and Nancy Krajewski, a part-time faculty member in management, received fifteen year service awards. Ten year awards were awarded to: Dr. Aigbe Akhigbe, professor of finance, Richard Burke, part-time faculty member in finance, Dr. Akhilesh Chandra, professor of accounting, Mary Hardin, director of technology, Dr. William McHenry, associate professor of management, and Dr. Melinda Newman, associate professor of finance. Dr. Linda Orr, assistant professor of marketing, was given a five year service award.
