CBA Alumnus is 2010 Cuyahoga Falls Citizen of the Year06/10/2010
The Cuyahoga Falls Chamber of Commerce has announced that the recipient of the 2010 Citizen of the Year Award is city resident Tim Bullock.
Bullock, who earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from The University of Akron in 1991, is Vice President of Union National Mortgage Co. He has held this position for the past 15 years.
An assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 154, Bullock also serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board as second vice president and is co-chair of the 2010 Scholarship Committee and 2010 Co-Chair of the Golf Outing. He has also served on the Chamber Night at the Races committee, as well as a volunteer on other various Chamber of Commerce programs.
Bullock loves to watch his kids play baseball, track, cross country and tennis for CFABA and Woodridge Local Schools. He also enjoys reading to 2nd graders at Leggett Elementary School in Akron.
Recipients of the Citizen of the Year Award are selected on the basis of both their personal and business achievements and on their volunteer work and efforts in the community and in the Chamber.
Chamber CEO Laura Petrella notes, "These awards are the highest honor a person in Cuyahoga Falls can receive from the Chamber of Commerce."
