In addition to the College of Business Administration’s ranking by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the top 100 business programs in the U. S., it has now been similarly ranked by U. S. News & World Report. In Best Colleges 2011, U.S. News ranked the CBA as one of the best undergraduate business programs in the nation.
The nature of how the rankings are determined differs between the two publications.
Businessweek places emphasis on student, alumni and corporate recruiter input, while the U.S. News rankings are based solely on peer assessment. U.S. News surveys deans and senior faculty at each undergraduate business program accredited by AACSB International and asks them to rate the quality of all programs with which they were familiar.
Together, these rankings provide a comprehensive view of the CBA from multiple perspectives.
The inclusion of the CBA in the U.S. News rankings, along with its ranking by Bloomberg Businessweek, its recognition by the Princeton Review, and its AACSB accreditation, clearly show the College to be the premier public business school in our region.
