This semester, students in the Management Project course taught by Drs. Barbara Osyk and Bindiganavale Vijayaraman are working on a project for the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center.
The students are identifying issues related to collection of material donations, such as clothing and shoes. They will make a recommendation to the Salvation Army on how to increase the quantity and quality of the donations.
This project, along with several others in the Management Department this semester, was facilitated through contacts provided by Dr. Theresa Beyerle, Associate Director of the Institute for Teaching and Learning. Dr. Beyerle is very helpful in obtaining contacts and ideas for course projects in the non-profit sector and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 330-972-2154.
