Second Annual IT Career Camp

Students Testing Robots IT Career Camp is designed for rising high school juniors and seniors from the Greater Akron area to work together in groups and gain a better understanding of the Information Technology field.

The camp will be a five day event held on The University of Akron campus from June 20-24th. Students interested in registering should fill out the available form.

General Information

IT Career Camp is a five day event that places 30 students into teams that will work together and compete against each other in a week long competition. Throughout the course of this camp, students will learn about various technologies, and what IT/IS professionals do on a day-to-day basis. The event will take place in the Taylor Institute at The University of Akron.

 

Who is Invited?

Greater Akron area high school students who are interested in Information Systems and Information Technology. The camp committee will select 30 students from the list of applicants. Students should be entering their junior or senior year of high school.

How much does it cost?

Career Camp is free for students thanks to the support of CITe and our corporate sponsors!
