Flexible MBA program
to be unveiled at April 7 celebration
The University's College of Business Administration will hold a celebration to introduce its new MBA programs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7 in the Stadium Club level of InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.
Dr. Andrew Thomas, assistant professor of marketing, will present “Sputnik Moments and Moon Shots: Be Careful What You Wish For” as part of the celebration.
Changes to the program
The revised MBA will be offered as the Flexible MBA on the Akron campus and as the Saturday MBA at Wayne College and Medina County University Center.
The changes to the MBA program are intended to:
- increase the relevancy of the curriculum,
- attract more students with work experience and undergraduate backgrounds in non-business disciplines, and
- allow students to personalize their MBA concentration depending upon their interests and career plans.

In addition, an information session for all CBA master's programs will be held on the Akron campus, Friday, April 8 from 5:30-7 pm. in the College of Business Administration Building, Room 131. The building is at 259 S. Broadway St. in Akron.
Multiple information sessions about the Saturday MBA program will be held during April and May at Wayne College and MCUC.
