Have a great idea? Could you pitch it in 60 seconds or less? Then register now and see how to take your business to the next level. On Tuesday September 27th, 2011 from 9:00-5:00p.m., LRMR and The University of Akron will host the 2011 Entrepreneurship Summit. LRMR works with athletes and entertainers in all aspects of brand management and marketing. This summit will include presentation on how to deliver a winning pitch, followed by a presentation on how to create a business for less than $1000.
After these presentations there will be a panel discussion with LRMR. Following the panel, there will be a 60 second business pitch event. At this event, 10 to 20 talented entrepreneurs will be chosen to compete for $10,000 and eight weeks of business mentoring. Students must make the best case for their business idea to a panel of judges and a live audience. The pressure-packed format tests how concise you can be, how quickly you can think on your feet . . . and just how much careful thought you’ve given to your business in the first place. There is no registration cost for this event.
There will also be a entrepreneurship networking luncheon with Jesse Itzoler, Co-Founder of Marquis Jet. This luncheon is $10 for students and $15 for non-students. To register for this event please visit www.330ceos.com.Tweet
