Why the CBA?
I chose UA because of the CBA! The CBA at UA has so many opportunities and connections compared to other colleges, and we have The Institute for Leadership Advancement. There is no shortage of organizations, events, and incredible faculty in the CBA that will help you develop and grow your career.

Why Did You Choose Your Major?
In high school I had my heart set on Law School. My dad nearly broke my heart when he told me I had to pick an undergraduate degree. I had no idea what I wanted to do, so my dad told me I should either go into business or engineering. I liked working with money and numbers, so I decided to major in business. However, I had no idea what area of business I wanted to study. When I was scheduling for my senior year, my guidance counselor called me to her office to let me know I wasn’t allowed three study halls (I had all of my requirements met and didn’t need any more classes). She gave me two options to fill one of the study halls: Accounting or Art. I am not the least bit artistic, so I chose Accounting. I fell in love with accounting and found my major.
