Benefits 2013 Enrollment Confirmation Available Online
To view your Benefits elections, log into your My Akron account, click on the Faculty/Staff tab, then click “Benefits Summary.” Enter the current date and click the Go button. Your current Benefits elections will be displayed.
Working Spouse/SSDP Certification
The University’s Working Spouse/SSDP policy requires spouses/SSDPs of University employees who have access to employer subsidized (at least 50%) medical and dental insurance to elect that coverage as primary. These spouses are only permitted to have secondary access to University medical and dental insurance policies.
If your spouse/SSDP is enrolled for medical and/or dental coverage effective January 1, 2013. Please print the Working Spouse Form and complete the top portion. If applicable, the bottom portion must be completed by your spouse/SSDP’s employer.
Completed forms must be returned to Benefits Administration via fax at (330) 972-2336 or interoffice mail to +0602. Please note this form must be completed annually.
All forms must be received by December 14, 2012 or there may be a delay in processing claims.
