Mission and Vision:
The Board exists to assist the faculty, staff, and students of The University of Akron in ensuring an optimal educational experience.
The purpose of the Nutrition/Dietetic Programs (NDP) Advisory Board is to assist and support the Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CP), the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD), the Nutrition Center, and the Graduate Program in Dietetics at the University of Akron.
The Board serves an advisory role that provides strategic direction and resources for the programs. It also enhances the programs enabling competencies of people, documented excellence, student success, community engagement and shared leadership.

Conference proceeds will benefit The University of Akron Nutrition & Dietetic Programs Advisory Board Scholarship. The board provides an annual scholarship to a junior or senior student in dietetics. Annually, scholarships are awarded to students based on academic and professional excellence, accompanied by demonstrated good leadership, teamwork, and ethics.
Dr. Keith Roach: Chief Medical officer for Enforcer eCoaching, a company dedicated to giving individuals specific daily coaching on improving diet, smoking cessation, weight loss, and exercise
Yaron Hadad: A co-founder of Nutrino, a nutrition application, and main blogger to detail the apps nutritional topics.
Community Health Improvement: Austen BioInnovation Institute in Akron
Dietitian Panel: Representatives from the University of Akron, Kent State University, and James Madison University will talk about how technology has impacted the profession and take questions.
