Dear Faculty and Staff,
Earlier this week, I shared a message about our collective success over the course of the past year and outlined some of the opportunities and challenges ahead. As we prepare for the start of classes next week, I want to again take the opportunity to reach out and officially welcome you back to campus. I want to offer my best wishes for a great academic year as well.
This truly is a fine university with an outstanding faculty, committed administrators and contract professionals, and an excellent staff. We play a vital role in the local community, and even more significantly, in the lives and futures of our students. Please know that I sincerely appreciate your efforts on behalf of our students and the University.
I am honored to serve as your president, and grateful for the privilege to work with you in the weeks and months ahead. Your support and positivity are greatly appreciated. If there is ever anything that I can do to assist you or our students, please do not hesitate to let me know.
