Dr. Hendrik Heinz selected to receive the 2013 Max Hey Medal

Dr. Hendrik Heinz has been selected by the Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland to receive the 2013 Max Hey Medal. The award recognizes existing and ongoing research of excellence carried out by young workers, within the fields of either mineralogy, crystallography, petrology or geochemistry. The award of this medal dates back to 1993 and is named in honor of the eminent British mineralogist Dr Max H. Hey (1904–1984).
