Amy Eibel is in her sixth year of serving as adjunct faculty in the Art Education Department at the Myers School of Art. In addition, Amy is a full-time visual art teacher at Faircrest Memorial Middle School in the Canton Local School District. Amy is currently in her eighth year of teaching for Canton Local. Amy also collaborates in the coordination of Arts LIFT, a summer public art program for high school students run through the Art Ed Department at Myers. She is the Adjudication Chair for the Northeast Central Ohio Scholastic Art Awards Committee, and is the Regional Director for the East Central Division of the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA). Amy has presented on a variety of topics at OAEA and National Art Education Association Conferences. She was recently a featured "artist-to-watch" in the May 2014 edition of About Magazine, and has exhibited her work in the Emily Davis Gallery at the University of Akron, at Kent State University Stark Campus, Translations Gallery, and Akrona Gallery. Amy lives with her husband, Greg, in southern Stark County. Amy’s studio is East Spartan Art.
