The Emily Davis Gallery is nationally known and presents challenging contemporary exhibitions and events that showcase the most current expressions and critical thinking evolving in the visual arts today.

Legacies: The Myers School of Art Collection

Fall 2026 Exhibition | August 24 to November 20, 2026

The gallery is excited to share selections from the collection over the years, including recent acquisitions to the Myers School of Art collection.

This exhibition highlights areas of focus in our collection, which include works by faculty, alumni, regional artists, visiting artists and other gifts from donors around the country. The objects are used for study and for exhibition opportunities across campus throughout the year.

  • Paid parking is available in Folk Hall parking lots. Scan the posted signs to pay by the hour.

Exhibitions are organized by the Emily Davis Gallery and both are curated by Arnold Tunstall, Director, University Art Galleries.

Parking: The University of Akron offers pay-by-the-hour parking at Folk Hall. Please scan the QR code (on signs throughout both the front and back lots) to pay, or call UAkron Park during normal business hours at (330) 972-7213.
