Degree Audit

Before meeting with your academic adviser, you should run a Degree Audit in DARS to familiarize yourself with the academic requirements of your major and minor (if applicable) and to identify remaining degree course requirements.

How To Run a Degree Audit (DARS)

1. Log into My Akron (formerly Zipline).  
2. Select the tab for Students.
3. Click on DARS logo - this will open the DARS “Audit Request” screen.
4. To run your current academic program (major) of instruction, click the “run” button.
5. To check your progress in a different academic program (major) of instruction, select the “second choice” to run a different major or minor. From the drop down boxes select the chosen degree, major or minor.
6. Scroll down the screen and click on “Submit a New Audit” and a new window will open with the DARS report.

Your college transcript is a complete record of your academic history that includes the courses you have taken and grades in earned while at The University of Akron.   

How To Request an Official College Transcript

1. Log into My Akron (formerly Zipline).  
2. Select the tab for Students.
3. Select Online Transcript Request. 
4. Review Processing Options and select appropriate.
5. Enter recipient’s address.
6. Click Submit.
