Fellowships in Integrated Bioscience and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute

We are pleased to announce research fellowships for IB students. Recipients will work with Cleveland Clinic (CC) faculty involved in collaborative research projects with IB faculty at The University of Akron (UA). Fellowships will allow students to conduct cutting-edge biomedical research at UA and the CC Lerner Research Institute while pursuing an Integrated Bioscience Ph.D.

How will the fellowships work?

Applicants selected to become Integrated Bioscience Fellows in Biomedicine (IBFB) will receive a research assistantship and tuition scholarship annually and will be co-advised by a CC faculty and an IB faculty member from UA. Research will be conducted at both the Lerner Research Institute and in labs at UA. Review of applicants begins immediately; interested students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. For more information, please contact the director of Integrated Bioscience, Dr. Stephen C. Weeks, or Dr. Vinod Labhasetwar, Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic.
