The Dean's Challenge Scholarships were set up to provide $500 of student scholarship funding to the large, medium, and small units most actively participating in the 2013 United Way campaign, and the Philosophy Department was the winner of the small unit award.
The Philosophy faculty selected Steven Ellsworth, a senior Philosophy major, as their recipient, and the presentation was made at the BCAS Annual College Scholarship Award Reception held at Quaker Square in March. The funds will be dispersed to Steven's account for the Fall 2014 semester.
