Michael is an Executive Partner at Gartner with over 17 years of experience in advisory and consulting roles. Based in Atlanta, he specializes in digital strategy, data and analytics program management, IT cost optimization, portfolio management, and culture change for IT teams and CIOs. His industry experience spans defense, retail, manufacturing, education, research, and the public sector.

Gartner (NYSE: IT) was founded in 1979 and is the world's largest technology research and advisory firm, providing actionable insights and expert guidance to executives in over 100 countries. With more than 16,000 associates, Gartner enables clients to make informed decisions and drive strong performance on critical priorities.

Prior to Gartner, Michael served as an officer in the U.S. Army in infantry and intelligence roles, serving in Korea, Iraq, and at various training centers like the National Training Center.

Michael enjoys studying the history of technology, and frequently delivers keynote speeches and executive briefings on topics related to emerging technology and its impact on users and communities.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys reading and travel. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
