Our on-campus health clinic Student Health Services provides quality, cost-effective, culturally competent and compassionate health care and health education. The Health Services also includes the Well Women's Clinic.
We also have a state-of-the-art on-campus Student Recreation and Wellness Center for students to keep fit and achieve work and life balance. Living on campus
International undergraduates will live on campus the first two years and are guaranteed on-campus housing for the remaining years. The University of Akron is patrolled by our own fully commissioned Police Department (UAPD). The department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing the campus and the neighborhoods adjoining the university with law-enforcement services that enhance safety and security.
